Glencore celebrates success at the TAFE Queensland 2025 Trade Excellence Awards in Mount Isa

Glencore is proud to congratulate our talented apprentices and tradespeople who were recognised at the TAFE Queensland 2025 Trade Excellence Awards held in Mount Isa. The event brought together the region’s most dedicated and high-achieving tradespeople, celebrating the skills and commitment that drive our industries forward.

This year, Glencore was strongly represented across multiple categories, with nominees including Alex Jeffrey, Amy Sanders, Brianna Hatherell, Brianna Thirlwall, Eddie Samiak, Jemma Green, Malachai Munns, Mikey Koza and Trent Bawden. Each of these individuals embodies the qualities we value most; technical skill, innovation, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence in their trade.

We extend a special congratulations to Brianna Thirlwall, who was named the winner of the Female Trade Student of the Year. Brianna’s recognition is a reflection of her outstanding work ethic, dedication to her craft, and the leadership she demonstrates as a role model for women pursuing careers in the trades.
