MCARTHUR RIVER MINE
See our mine site
Our McArthur River Mine is made up of key operational areas, including:
- the open cut mine
- a tailings storage facility
- the waste rock pile, or northern overburden emplacement facility (NOEF), where the waste rock is stored.
The McArthur River flows through our McArthur River Mine mining lease, located 120 kilometres from the Gulf of Carpentaria. We have undertaken an extensive, ongoing rehabilitation program to ensure the river channel is healthy.
This page contains drone footage of the McArthur River diversion channel and our waste rock pile. The footage below will be updated reguarly.
