We are one of Australia’s largest nickel and cobalt producers and are wholly owned by Glencore.
Our Murrin Murrin operation commenced in 1998 and is located between the communities of Leonora and Laverton in the north-eastern Goldfields region of Western Australia, with our corporate offices situated in Perth.
We are a competitive producer of high quality, refined nickel and cobalt based on the mining and processing of laterite ore. We use High Pressure Acid Leach (HPAL) technology to do this at our complex hydro-metallurgical processing facility at Murrin Murrin.
We are committed to operating in a safe, productive, and responsible manner.
We make a significant contribution to the Western Australian economy through employment, procurement of goods and services and payment of taxes and royalties. We also work with local community partners in areas like health, education and culture.
Glencore’s global governance framework, underpins how we work and supports our commitment to our values.
