Mount Isa Mines Rodeo ticket giveaway

Mount Isa Mines is helping local families get Rodeo ready, with 50 Family Passes to the 2026 Mount Isa Mines Rodeo up for grabs.

The competition will give 50 local families the chance to attend the Rodeo at Buchanan Park on Saturday 8 August.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Eligibility:

Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years or over who have a current residential address within Mount Isa, Queensland, Australia or postcode 4825.

Mount Isa Mines Limited (“Glencore”) reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any entrant, including their age and residential address.

Winners may be required to provide photographic identification and evidence of their current residential address within Mount Isa or within the postcode 4825 before a prize is awarded. Glencore will sight the identification and proof of residence documents, it will not retain a copy of the documents. Acceptable forms of verification may include:

  • a current Queensland driver's licence;
  • a recent utility bill;
  • a recent rates notice;
  • a recent bank statement; or
  • another recent official and recent document showing the entrant's name and residential address.

If a winner is unable to provide satisfactory evidence of eligibility within the timeframe requested by Glencore, the prize may be forfeited and a redraw shall take place. In that event, the prize may be awarded to another eligible entrant.

Any entry containing false, misleading or fraudulent information may be deemed invalid.

In the event of a dispute regarding an entrant's eligibility, identity, age or residential address, the decision of Glencore will be final.

Employees of Glencore, and their immediate family members are eligible to enter, as long as they meet the requirements of being a current resident of Mount Isa or within the postcode 4825.

  1. How to enter:

Entries must be submitted between 16 July 2026 and 11:59pm AEST on 2 August 2026 by completing the competition entry form hosted on SurveyMonkey.

Late, incomplete, illegible or corrupted entries will not be accepted.

  1. Entry requirements:
  • Each entry must include the entrant’s full name, contact details and current residential address.
  • Only one entry per person is permitted.
  • Multiple entries from the same person may be disqualified.
  • By entering the competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  1. Selection and judging:
  • The winners will be determined by Glencore through a randomised generator.
  • The draw will take place on or about 3 August 2026.
  • If there is a technical issue or other circumstances affecting the randomised generator draw, the winners will be determined at random by Glencore at its sole discretion.
  • The judges’ decision is final.
  1. Prize:

There are fifty (50) family one-day passes to be won for the 2026 Mount Isa Mines Rodeo.

Each winner will receive one (1) Family Day Pass consisting of entry for two (2) adults and three (3) children for attendance on Saturday, 8 August 2026.

Each prize is valued at approximately AUD$120.

Winners must comply with all conditions of entry and venue requirements imposed by the Mount Isa Mines Rodeo. Further information is available on the Mount Isa Mines Rodeo website.

The prize:

  • Is not transferable, exchangeable or refundable;
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation; and
  • Must be accepted as awarded.

If any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond Glencore’s control, we reserve the right to substitute the prize with an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

  1. Winner notification and prize collection

Winners will be notified using the contact details provided in their entry within two (2) business days of the draw.

If a winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 48 hours of notification, Glencore reserves the right to redraw the prize and award it to another eligible entrant.

Instructions regarding prize collection or ticket delivery will be provided to winners at the time of notification.

  1. Use of entries and privacy

By entering the competition, entrants’ consent to Glencore collecting and using their personal information for the purposes of administering the competition, contacting winners and distributing prizes.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with Glencore’s Privacy Policy.

By accepting a prize, winners agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities related to the competition, including the publication of their first and last name unless prohibited by law.

  1. Liability and disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, Glencore and its related entities, officers, employees and agents accept no responsibility for:

  • entries not received due to technical disruptions, network failures or other reasons beyond their control;
  • any loss, damage or injury suffered in connection with the competition or acceptance and use of the prize; or 
  • the cancellation, postponement or alteration of the 2026 Mount Isa Mines Rodeo event.
  • Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

This competition is in no way sponsored or endorsed, by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or SurveyMonkey.

Entrants completely release Facebook, Instagram and SurveyMonkey from any liability associated with this competition.

The promoter of this competition is Glencore Australia Holdings Pty Ltd.

Purpose of collection

Glencore Australia Holdings Pty Ltd, and its Australian related bodies corporate (Glencore), is collecting the personal information you provide, including your name, contact details, and any proof of residential address (such as a driver licence, utility bill, rates notice or bank statement) you submit, for the purpose of conducting and administering the 2026 Mount Isa Mines Rodeo – Family Day Pass Giveaway, including selecting winners, notifying prizes and promoting the competition.

How your information will be used

Glencore is committed to protecting your privacy and will deal with your personal information in accordance with our Australian Privacy Policy and Collection Statements. By entering the competition, you consent to Glencore using your personal details for:

  • Selecting and announcing winners;
  • Publishing in internal and external communications, including but not limited to our social media channels, website, media and marketing materials related to the competition; and
  • Internal record keeping and statistical purposes.

Disclosure to third parties

Your personal information may be shared with service providers assisting with the competition, including SurveyMonkey and IT service providers in accordance with Glencore’s Privacy Policy. All third parties are required to comply with Australian privacy laws.

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information held by Glencore by contacting Privacy@Glencore.com.au.

How we store and secure your personal information

We will retain your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined above and will securely delete or de-identify it when no longer required.
