Glencore’s Jackie Rose-Meyer named Exceptional Woman in Queensland Resources

Glencore is proud to celebrate the achievements of four outstanding employees who were recognised at the 2025 QRC/WIMARQ Resources Awards for Women.

The annual event was part of the WIMARQ International Women’s Day celebrations, honouring women who make significant contributions to the Queensland resources sector and acknowledging individuals and companies championing diversity and inclusion.

Jackie Rose-Meyer takes top honour

Jackie Rose-Meyer, Regional Head of Studies, Global Capital Studies, was named the Exceptional Woman in Queensland Resources. This award recognises her exemplary leadership, dedication and contribution to the resources industry. Jackie’s expertise and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in driving innovation and fostering inclusivity in the sector.

Glencore’s distinguished finalists

In addition to Jackie’s remarkable win, three other Glencore employees were honoured as finalists in their respective categories:

Akala Street, Mechanical Engineer, Glencore Technology, was Runner Up of the Exceptional Young Woman in Queensland Resources Award

Nandini Jaysree, Superintendent SAP Systems, Regional Information Systems and Technology, was Highly Commended in the Exceptional Woman in Queensland Resources Technological Innovation category

Makaela Coster, Mine Assistant, George Fisher Mine, was Highly Commended in the Exceptional Tradeswoman/Operator/Technician category

About Mount Isa Mines

Mount Isa Mines operates two separate mining and processing streams, copper and zinc-lead-silver, to deliver natural resources that have enduring roles in our society.
