Applications are now open for Glencore Coal’s 2025 Graduate Program.
Starting in February 2025, this two-year program provides aspiring professionals with a chance to kickstart their careers within one of Australia’s leading mining companies.
Graduate opportunities are available across a range of disciplines including engineering, environmental science, surveying, geology, health and safety, accounting, human resources and IT.
The program offers a competitive six-figure remuneration package and an opportunity for participants to immerse themselves in hands-on experiences.
Michelle Montgomery, Human Resources Manager for Glencore Coal, said the program is more than just a career opportunity; graduates develop a wide range of new skills while experiencing regional Australia and exploring new communities.
"We believe in investing in our talent. Our Graduate Program provides a platform for emerging professionals to learn, contribute, and thrive in a supportive and challenging environment," Michelle said.
"Beyond technical skills, our Graduate Program gives participants the chance to learn from industry leaders, and hone their soft skills in communication, teamwork and leadership.”
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to explore both Queensland and New South Wales with rotated placements across Glencore Coal operations in the Bowen Basin, Hunter Valley and Mid-Western Region.
Applications for the 2025 Graduate Program will close Sunday 14 April 2024.
