Applications are now open for the 2027 Glencore Coal Apprenticeship Program.

As Australia’s largest coal producer, Glencore offers programs for aspiring tradespeople looking for a well-paid and rewarding career in one of the country’s most vital sectors.

The Glencore Coal Apprenticeship Program provides a unique blend of hands-on learning and industry exposure, giving apprentices the opportunity to earn a nationally recognised trade qualification while earning a competitive salary.

Currently, 281 apprentices are part of Glencore’s Australian coal operations.

Glencore Coal Human Resources Manager, Stella De Best, said the four-year program offers opportunities to develop practical skills while working alongside experienced industry professionals.

“At Glencore, we believe in investing in our talent, and our Apprenticeship Program serves as an entry point for aspiring tradespeople to learn, contribute, and thrive in a supportive and challenging environment.”
