Integra Underground Mine is located in the Hunter Coalfields in the Upper Hunter Valley of NSW, approximately 12 km north-east of Singleton.
The mine is operated by HV Coking Coal Pty Ltd, a company which is 100% owned by Glencore.
Brief history of the operation
Integra Underground Mine, formerly known as Glennies Creek Colliery, was established in 1999, with the first longwall mining commencing in the Middle Liddell seam in 2002.
In mid 2014, the Underground Operations were placed on care and maintenance at the completion of longwall 12.
In December 2015, HV Coking Coal acquired the assets of the Integra Underground from Vale.
In November 2016, Glencore announced that operations at Integra Underground would restart in 2017.
