We are a significant contributor to the agricultural industry in Australia, connecting agricultural commodities safely and efficiently between growers and customers in Australia and overseas.
We originate, handle, store, transport and market a range of agricultural commodities, including wheat, barley, oilseeds, pulses, sorghum, meals and cotton.
As one of the largest buyers of grain, oilseeds and pulses, we have close, direct relationships with many growers.
We are one of the leading exporters of Australian grain and we operate world-class storage and handling assets in South Australia, and western Victoria, including upcountry storage sites and bulk export port terminals as well as container packing and processing facilities across south eastern Australia.
We work closely with export, domestic and end-use customers. Through a strong focus on quality control, food safety and reliability, we meet each customer's exact and diverse requirements.
In doing so, we make a positive contribution to local economies, Australia's relationship with key trading partners and food security in highly populated developing countries.
In 2017, we connected more than 12 million tonnes of agricultural commodities from Australian farms with customers around the world.
In addition to Glencore, Glencore Agriculture's shareholders are Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and British Colombia Investment Management Corporation.
